The daylight in the afternoon sunlight was blaring as the uninterrupted country summer heat took hold of the outback setting. The light warm wind began to pick up with a wailing breeze - it’s a hot wind that most would find unpleasant with the great green trees waving around the woods with the wind whistling through their great trunks in the distance. Surrounding the farmland was segments of woods that were strewn with giant trees both up close and in the distance. There were many fields with dried green grass, each separated by thin wire fences.
A large fence separated parts of the farm leading into the small woods behind the paddocks as large residences and buildings could be seen far off from our position. In front of us as we pan away from the fields and the blinding summer sun is a brick path leading up to a large brick and marble house. The house was very modern and upscale in the centre of a paddock which was mostly trees and grass with a rock and dirt driveway leading up to it from a long dirt road. There was a brick and marble path that led up to the main entrance which took us up light grey marble stairs - the common theme was white stone marble that the stairs and house were made from. Boutique facades and clear glass took hold of the residence and railed it's edges and sides.
Outside of all of this in a separate yard from everything else is a dusty field with lots of space. There are parked cars at the front and a large warehouse at the back that borders the other fields. In the centre there isn’t much except for two figures that we pan above. As we get closer we see two young individuals both performing a fighter stance as if they were in the middle of a skirmish…
… The first individual - a young 17 year old Michael Rissi, over 10 years younger than what we currently see now on our TV screens. The young Michael Rissi is free of facial hair. He’s much smaller and shorter - around 180lbs lighter with little to none of his insanely impressive muscle and definition. Michael is dressed in some Adidas Sweats and a black t-shirt.
The second person - Sal D’Rocco, 2 years younger than Michael at 15 years old and Michael’s first cousin. Sal is younger but considerably larger and more athletic with about 80 pounds on Michael and while he may be an inch shorter he has a bigger, stronger and more powerful ripped style physique. Sal is in a pair of red sneakers and a multi-coloured pair of shorts.
Both of them stance across from each other then the two cousin’s come in close! Michael goes for some strikes but Sal dodges them! Sal swings a kick but Michael side-steps it and gets around Sal! Michael swings a right hand but Sal blocks it and palms Michael in the stomach! Michael coughs out and slides back at the powerful motion from Sal! Michael swings again! Sal steps out of the way and easily counters with a punch to Michael’s mid-section then jumps up and lands a kick square into Michael’s chest before landing on the ground and hitting Michael with a side kick, sending him into the dirt!
Michael Rissi: Argh! D-Damn it!
Michael gets up and dusts some of the orange dirt off of him as he faces Sal again. Sal nods at Michael lightly and starts loosening up his muscles.
Sal D’Rocco: Good intensity and great follow - you had great movement there.
Michael Rissi: You’re pretty damn impressive kid! You ready?
Sal D’Rocco: You bet!
Michael kicks up some dirty and speeds over to Sal with impressive speed! Sal scouts Michael and Michael’s eyes go wide and his face turns white as somehow Sal appears behind him! Michael spins around but Sal dropkicks Michael in the chest! Michael jumps back up and he swings again with a perfect boxing jab then a boxing right but he misses everything as Sal tilts his head back and forth to dodge everything! Michael gets pissed off and swings a big haymaker! Sal dodges it and then spins around, jumping up and kicking Michael in the chest 3 times while mid-air! Sal lands back on ground and sends Michael rolling back in the dirt with a short left jab! Michael gets up, tired and hurt but determined as he runs at Sal! Sal runs off and quadruples Michael’s speed as he stops Michael dead with a spear! Michael lies in the dirt, holding his torso as Sal walks a few steps back.
Michael Rissi: Ugh… Shit w-well that was *coughs* th-that was fast!
Sal D’Rocco: You all good to go again man or do you want to sit out?
Michael Rissi: No… I want to see you go even harder. Don’t worry I’ll be fine. I want to see it.
Sal sighs and takes a step to the side as Michael takes his time standing up. The young Sal clenches his fists and lets out a grunt as he starts to focus. He pounds the ground with his fist, shaking up the dirt as we see the veins start to pump faster and faster in his huge arms and across the rest of his body. The impressive fighter starts to go red and tense as Michael gets up and dusts himself off again.
Sal D’Rocco: Hmm… HRRRRAAAAAAAH!
A deafening roar from Sal asserts himself and throws Michael off as he takes a step back. Sal is pumped up and looks at Michael who focuses again and steps forward. Without even noticing, Sal appears in front of Michael in an instant with such great and shocking speed! He pokes Michael in the mid-section! Michael’s eyes go wide and almost roll in the back of his head as he goes down! Sal catches him before he hits the dirt and presses Michael over his head, tossing Michael into the warehouse wall with a mighty overhead throw! Michael hits the wall with a thud and falls in a heap on the ground. Sal takes few steps forward.
Michael Rissi: Ah! Ugh!
Michael looks up. Sal is almost back to normal, still pumped but he’s slowly calming down and turning his colour back to ordinary as the veins in his arms and body start to slow their pump. Michael stares up at Sal who puts his hand out. Michael takes it and Sal picks Michael up, sitting him on some pallets next to the warehouse.
Michael Rissi: *coughs* Th-that was insane. Didn’t even see it that time. You’re definitely getting better each and every day. I-I’m even more impressed.
Sal D’Rocco: You’ve improved. Your movement, your awareness mostly. I do feel a lot more energetic and powerful though. Later on after I workout again we should get David out as well and the three of us should hit the ring.
Michael Rissi: If I can recover by then, sure…
Sal D’Rocco: Don’t worry, we all have a lot to learn.
Sal bumps Michael’s fist and nods. Michael stands up and gives a thumbs up, limping away back up the path to the house as Sal lies back on the pallets.

Rissi Estate, Australia

Sal D’Rocco’s wide eyes open as he looks forward at the challenge in front of him - two huge tractor tyres stacked up and held together by chains. Sal takes a deep breath then walks up to the tyres and grabs a hold of them with a tight grip. Sal grunts as he lifts the gargantuan weight and flips it onto its side then over again! A big thud is heard and felt throughout the farmland as Sal grabs it again. He powers the tyres up once more and flips it over again!
Sal D’Rocco: RAAAAAAAH!
Sal flips the tyres again then again! His impressive muscles pump up as he gets a flow flipping the massive weight again and again across the yard. Sal pushes himself and uses his awesome strength to continue his intense training before he finally gets 100 metres to the other side of the yard. Sal looks around and takes a moment to calm down and looks out into the massive rolling hills. The panoramic views are incredible as the hills and mountains many kilometers in the distance can be seen.
Sal D’Rocco: Hmm?
Sal looks deeper out past the hills of the estate and the farm. Down deep past the last hill of the lands is a small road. A large truck pulls up the dirt roads of the outback bush and tears up its path with its size. The roar of the engine can be heard even from that distance as it rumbles while the truck comes to a stop. The young Sal D’Rocco takes a few steps forward to the fence of the yard to get a better look. He looks out and watches the truck.
Truck Voices: Move! Move it! On the side! Quick!
Sal listens to the muffled voices as he watches movement from the bush on the side of the road beside the large truck. The driver hangs out the side of the window, barking orders as three men come out of the bush. They’re dressed in black t-shirts and cargo pants as they drag themselves onto the road, carrying 2 tied up kangaroos with them. The men move over to the side of the truck where the driver opens the door to the container. They put the kangaroos in the back then hop in themselves. The driver looks around before he shuts the door then gets back in the cabin and roars up the road again.
Sal tilts his head then turns his attention back to the chained up tyres.

The sun is still out and reflects tranquilly on the hills and fields of the Estate. We ban in behind the old tin warehouse where a wrestling ring is set up outside. The ring has seen better days; the apron covers are ripped and tattered, the ropes are worn and have lost their colour and the canvas looks old and washed out. Michael Rissi who is in a black t-shirt and pair of sweatpants sits on the apron, taping up his fingers. The frame guides over to the side of the ring where a young kid, several years younger than Michael approaches the ring, followed by another teenager, similar in age to Michael.
David D’Rocco: Hey, are we ready or are we too late?
Rich Ranier: We thought you said 4 O’Clock? Are we still doing this?
David D’Rocco - a young kid, 13 years old and wrestler in training just like the rest of his family. He is Michael’s younger cousin and Sal’s younger brother. He’s much shorter and skinnier than the rest. He’s dressed in a yellow t-shirt and sweatpants… Rich Rainer - Michael’s childhood friend from the area. 17 years old, same age as Michael yet Michael is still the oldest. He’s barely taller than Michael but weighs less and is a lot more narrow and pale. He’s dressed in a green t-shirt and shorts. They both slide into the ring.
Michael Rissi: Relax. I’m still waiting for Sal. He hasn’t shown yet.
An older individual comes from the side of the warehouse and slides in the ring. He’s dressed in referee attire and must be at least older than 21. He comes inside the ring as Michael, Rich and David all stand up.
Referee: How are we doing this, this afternoon guys?
Michael Rissi: Handicap match - to test Sal. It’ll be us three against Sal… but we’re still waiting for him.
Sal’s voice comes from the side of a water tank just off to the side of the back of the tin warehouse and the wrestling ring.
Sal D’Rocco: Relax, I’m here!
Sal - in between the ages of all the individuals in training but clearly the most physically advanced and demanding. He slides in the ring, dressed in a pair of black and red combat shorts. The other three stand across from him and the ref comes in the middle.
Referee: OK! This is a 3 on 1 Handicap Match! I want a clean fight abiding by the rules of the contest.
Sal D’Rocco: Let's make it elimination…
Referee: A-Are you sure?
Sal D’Rocco: Yeah - I’m down with it if they are…
Referee: All right. Elimination Handicap Match - abide by the rules at all times. You all know how this is played so let’s begin.
DING DING DING!
Michael, Rich and David surround Sal. Sal looks around and the other three start to strategise across from him. Michael Rissi lunges in quick but Sal sidesteps him and blasts Michael in the gut with a big fist! Michael hits the mat on his knees and the other two rush in to help! Rich fires a punch but Sal blocks it with one arm then shoves David to the mat with the other! Sal takes Rich out with a lariat! Michael and David are back up and they get in Sal’s face, swinging with rights and lefts and hay makers but Sal bobs and weaves out of all of this and avoids the shots with tilts of his head before taking Michael and David down with a double clothesline!
Michael Rissi: Geez! How the fuck are all of us on the damn mat!?
Michael gets up, frustrated and lunges at Sal but Sal jumps a big kick into Michael’s chest and sends him to the mat! Sal goes to follow up but Rich comes in for a clothesline! Sal ducks it then plants Rich with a spinebuster! David is next to try and attack from behind but Sal appears behind David at amazing speed and takes him out with a sideslam! Michael again tries to come from behind but Sal puts Michael’s arm down and knees him in the side then hammer throws him out of the ring to the grass outside! David and Rich get up and look at each other!
Rich Rainer: Shit! H-He’s just a damn kid! How can he move like that!?
David D’Rocco: I’ve got this!
David runs up and tries to attack his brother with a running knee but Sal tilts out of the way and tosses David over the top rope and on top of the recovering Michael Rissi! Rich sees it as his only opportunity and comes from behind but Sal snaps a sidekick into his gut without even turning around! Rich is rattled and shocked! Sal presses Rich overhead and walks over to the ropes! Sal tosses Rich over the top ropes with an overhead slam to the outside, right on top of Michael and David as they get up!
Michael Rissi: Ugh - H-He can’t be this strong! He can’t be this fast! G-Get up guys, now’s our chance.
Michael, Rich and David all start recovering to their feet! Sal on the other hand is already on the move. He bounces off of the ropes then sprints across the ring at phenomenal speed and leaps over the top rope! He does two somersaults mid-air then lands on all three competitors, taking Michael, Rich and David out on the outside! Sal stands, landing on his feet as the others are down!
Michael Rissi: *coughs* H-He’s not e-even using focus. What the heck is this!?
Sal grabs David and rolls him back in the ring! Sal slides in and covers David!
1…
2…
3!
Referee: David D’Rocco is eliminated!
Rich got back to the apron cover to try to at least think about making the save but it was too late! Sal slides out of the ring to the apron side. Rich swings but Sal blocks it then presses him up, tossing him back into the ring through the middle ropes! Sal slides in and covers Rich!
1…
2…
3!
Referee: Rich Rainer is eliminated!
Michael dives in right at the last second but it’s too late - he couldn’t break the fall. He gets up and swings at Sal. Sal ducks it! Michael throws a right hand. Sal tilts his head and dodges it! Michael swings again but Sal ducks it then spins Michael around and boots him in the gut then hoists him up with great strength and plants him with a big powerbomb! Sal covers Michael!
1…
2…
3!
Referee: Michael Rissi is eliminated!
DING DING DING!
Michael, David and Rich try to recover from the canvas to the corners as Sal stands in the center of the ring. The referee slides out and Sal looks around at his defeated competition.
Michael Rissi: Damn… *coughs* That w-was a slaughter!
Rich Rainer: You weren’t kidding. That’s some SERIOUS strength and skill right there.
Sal helps Michael up but Michael falls, seating in the corner, still hurting. Sal walks over and nods at Rich as Sal flexes an impressive super right arm.
Sal D’Rocco: Increased my training a little more - feel like I have a good mix now.
The others look deflated and Sal notices instantly. He looks over and leans on the ropes as they finally are able to recover to their feet or the corners.
Sal D’Rocco: Hey, you guys have got some serious skill, don’t worry about that…
Sal trails off for a second.
Sal D’Rocco: Hey… I was wondering, did you guys wanna help me with something after - when it gets a little darker around the forests? I need capable people to come with me and check something out and who better than you guys?
