Aces High 25/05/2014
Steve White: By Gawd! What a show!
Chuck Thompson: What is left to say? Other than have a good night and thanks for watching!
Aces High has officially finished. It has officially gone off air. The bodies from the gruelling main event have been cleared, except one. Ryan Mercury, wearing his gold trunks, black elbow pads, knee pads and boots, stands central in the ring. Blood seeps slowly from his left eye, clotting and stopping midway down his cheek. He smirks towards the main camera and then casts his left index finger down his bloodied cheek, collecting some of the red ooze on his fingertips. He wipes it across his golden trunks and then moves over to the ropes nearest the announce table. He signals for a microphone and Steve White brings one to him. The arrogant superstar grasps the microphone tightly and toys with his words for a few seconds.
Ryan Mercury: Everything has gone according to plan. Everything has worked out perfectly. You see, to the untrained eye, we took a loss moments ago. However, in reality, we won. We got exactly what we wanted from the match. You see, the match tonight proved something. ECWF has the better men. ECWF has the better Morales. ECWF performed tonight like the proverbial band of brothers. However, the team who represented this company tonight, failed cataclysmically. Silver Kazama, David Gideon Smith, The Misfit and Billy Ryder. Those four men that I've just mentioned, failed. They did exactly what we thought they would do. They fought amongst themselves and did battle with their own ambitions firmly set in mind. This is a sign, a sign that we succeeded.
The crowd boo and hiss. Ryan Mercury glares arrogantly at the various sections of the crowd. They start chanting "EHWF! EHWF! EHWF!" and it makes Ryan Mercury simply chuckle. He licks his lips, catching a drop of blood as it tries to feed itself to him. He nods his head a couple of times, as if to say, let it all out.
Ryan Mercury: ECWF have proved tonight, that EHWF's top superstars, stand alone. They care little about the company. In fact, it sums it up when Silver Kazama, EHWF's night in shining armour, assaults David Gideon Smith. We have succeeded and that's a fact. We have destroyed the core of this company, turning the brightness into dark. We've turned the passion into hatred. We've made history tonight, just like I promised. The era of chaos is here, I guarantee you that. Silver Kazama and David Smith will do battle in the next couple of weeks once more. However, it will be a feud filled with petty hatred and personal ambition. It wouldn't have gotten this bad, had it not have been for Brandon and myself. What people don't realise, is that we control this company. David Gideon Smith, is the prime example. He spoke a few weeks ago about how Silver Kazama is just a puppet... well I've got some news for you David, you're just a puppet too.
"Star Wars" by John Williams begins to play on the audio system. Ryan Mercury places the microphone neatly in the centre of the ring and then climbs slowly out of the ring, through the middle ropes. He picks up his black hoodie and rests it over his right shoulder. The crowd show their hatred for Mercury as he exits into the back. The music fades out and the lighting returns to normal. The fans who had packed the arena just moments ago, begin to head out through the various exits. Aces High has finally ended.
