"That actually wasn't that bad of a night."
The voice of Joshua Samson, Esquire brings the scene to a beginning. The Anarchy General Manager is sat behind the desk within his temporary office of the Beaver Stadium; the site of the Come At Me Bro: Draft Day pay-per-view. By the early numbers ratings were through the roof. Of course Samson wasn't quite privy to that info but his insiders within the brain trust of EHWF had given him the heads up. It didn't take a brain surgeon to realize after witnessing the action that had transpired that this show was a major hit; from the opening match to the revealing of the draftees throughout the night and to the historic main event for the EHWF World Heavyweight Championship, it surpassed anything and everything that the company had done all year so far.
He knew he would most likely have to explain the happenings of the Number One Pick to his Number One Client. Bill Ryder had staked a lot in being the number one overall but forces beyond Samson's control decided that Eli Sykes would be drafted first.
"I don't even understand the big deal if you're first or last honestly. As long as you're on the number one brand it shouldn't be that big of deal. It's not like I'm going to give Sykes any special treatment. Freakin' Bill can be such a primadonna sometimes."
He couldn't do anything but forcibly exhale at the thought. But regardless of his attitude, Bill had become his friend, hell, he actually viewed Bill as his brother. No matter what could be said about Joshua Samson, one couldn't say he wasn't loyal to a fault. He had picked Bill Ryder for the long haul and damn it he was going to stick with the Bulletproof leader until the end.
"Goddamn, Bulletproof! Goddamn, Lil' Bit! She keeps pushing and pushing this alpha female crap between her and Misty. I'm all about a little chaos amongst the ranks but this could have turned into a problem. Thankfully Misty has been drafted to Mayhem for the time being. Keeping the two of them a part on different brands is definitely a blessing in disguise. I will need to contact her first thing in the morning to let her know she's not alone on Mayhem."
An audible yawn escapes from his mouth.
"I have to admit, though, I wish I would have thought of forming those three together. Astrid Sedin, Austin Reynolds, and Bill Ryder. That trio is going to raise some major hell on Anarchy. Let's see Mikey top that shit!"
He had plans to fly back home to Atlanta tonight but the thought of his head hitting the soft cool idea of the pillow was overwhelming to his thoughts. He would indeed be staying another night in Pennsylvania.
"Fuck this place....I'm out."
With those parting words, the scene comes to an end.
