It was several days after the Mayhem in Mexico City. As such the EHWF Mayhem World Champion Sah'ta Thor had made it back to his Las Vegas residence. As he spent a lot of time in the Las Vegas area due to several of his non-EHWF related business ventures having a place there was logical. Plus, several of his children called the area home and it allowed him to visit with his grandchildren easily. That is when they weren't up at the Colorado based Castle Thorn family estate. The residence in question was a three story, five bedroom house in an unassuming residential area. The third floor was a loft suite that was effectively the master bedroom with an attached kitchenette and living room. The rest of the house was used by either students of Phoenix Nest while they were finding their own places or new Imperial Enterprise hires. As such the third story suite could be reached by its own outside entrance in addition to the inside stairs.
It was in the living room of this suite that we found Sah'ta Thor sitting on the black couch with a smile on his face. A face that was still showing the bruising from being hit by Mass Mancini in their match the other day. Yet, even for the bruising Thor was in good spirits and was evidently in a good mood. On a redwood end table at the end of the couch you could see a flat screen computer monitor. A keyboard rests on the arm of the couch as if waiting for use. Over the back of the couch is draped the EHWF Mayhem World Championship gleaming in the room's light.
Thor himself was dressed in a pair of black cargo shorts and a EHWF Meltdown 2023 t-shirt. A shirt that could be purchased from the EHWF.com merchandise shop. Clipped to the collar of the shirt was a small microphone that had a long cord connecting to the computer tower under the end table. All of this was captured by several cameras that fed into the computer giving a clear image on the powered on screen. Taking a deep breath Thor gives an enigmatic smile on lips before speaking.
Sah'ta Thor: Greetings and salutations folks to the debut of my new Twitch channel. As such I am sure I will likely screw something up but here goes nothing. We will see where this all goes and I will be looking to answer some questions from the community. Yet, before we start the question and answers session I have a few things to say about my current career. We all know that in just over a week and a half EHWF will be hosting Meltdown in Astana, Kazakhstan's Astana Arena. Don't worry if you don't know where that is as it is a country in Central Asia near the China and Russia borders. It is an interesting place to have a huge EHWF PPV. However, that is beside the point.
There is a pause as Thor reaches in front of him and grabs something. He pulls back a Sherlock style pipe and a lighter that he lights up and takes a long drag from. He sets both to the couch cushion next him before continuing on.
Sah'ta Thor: I will be honest, Meltdown will be quite the night for sure. From the kick off show where my daughter and son-in-law are facing The Wolves for the EHWF Tag Team Titles to my son being in the Global Championship Meltdown Chamber to the World Championship Meltdown Chamber Main Event where I defend my championship against 5 other top Mayhem talents. It is a big night for my family. Before I get into talking about my match though, let me address something. People are commenting on the fact that I have lost my last two matches. Actually, the only matches I have had since I became the EHWF World Champion. The first against Alexandria where I got myself disqualified on purpose. Hello folks, I said earlier in the night that I do things smarter instead of harder. I will be the first to admit that I was getting my ass kicked and needed to do something drastic. I did and at the end of the night I remained the Champion. Before you all go and whine again about how unfair to Alexandria that was, remember that there is a time honored tradition of champions retaining via DQ finishes. Sure in the end it did get her a spot in the Meltdown Chamber. I did what I had to do in the moment to retain the belt. As for the EHWF Mixed Tag Title Match last Mayhem, I have to ask you a question. Did you really think the title would change? Logically, this close to Meltdown where I am defending my title and Kyuubi Azule is in contention for the vacant Jr. Heavyweight Title?
Another pause for breath occurs during which Thor takes another drag from his pipe.
Sah'ta Thor: Seriously, given the situation it is not surprising from a booking standpoint. After all, I didn't get pinned and it did result in filling the Meltdown Chamber. Which brings me another point, did Mancini and Diana dig into the archives to find their litany of insults about me? Or are they just that unoriginal? Seriously, it is common knowledge that I didn't even make my professional wrestling debut until I was 42 years old. That was in February of 2007, which was just over 16 years ago. Admittedly, I have had to take time off several times for various health issues in that time but I have also been involved in some of the most brutal matches known to the industry. I won my first world title by being thrown through an announcer's table from the top of a steel cage. Yet, I digress. I am now 58 years old and you can see the shape I am in. Honestly, how many men my age are in as good of shape and capable of putting on the quality of matches that I am capable of. Sure, I am not as fast or as strong as a lot of the younger guys but I am experienced and resilient. As the song says "I am not as I once was but I am as good once as I ever was."
Thor smirks letting his words sink in as he looks over to read the channel comments as he takes a couple of tokes from his pipe. He chuckles a few times as sees some of the comments.
Sah'ta Thor: Don't worry folks, I will be answering your questions in a bit. If you let me finish what I want to say you might even have your questions pre-answered. I just love the fact that Mass and Diana have been harping on the fact that I am not a real man because of my age and the fact that I am not a walking mountain of meat. Which is another oldie but good opponent insult. To be honest, it sounds as if they found Mazzio or Rissi's promos and decided to just reuse the material. I have heard the "I am stronger than you so you aren't a real wrestler" attitude my whole career. Which makes me wonder if anyone even knows who I am these days. I know that I have revealed a lot about my past before becoming a professional wrestler but how many people remember that information? Hell, does anyone even look through the EHWF Archives to know the history of this place? If not let me name three video packages of mine to go watch to get a much needed look into who I am. First, my EHWF debut message in September 2011. Second, the video package before my match against Alexander Remington in late October 2011. Third, a package I put together back in June of 2020. There are many more worth looking at but those three should serve as a good cliff note version of who I am.
With that Thor stops speaking to take a breath while reading more of the audience comments. Luckily for him he had a good moderator on duty who had set up a discord and was setting up things for the question and answer part of this stream.
Sah'ta Thor: Before we get to the question and answer part of this, let me address the rest of my opponents for the Meltdown Chamber. First off, we have Thea who I invited to be my first opponent. Mostly because she is a talented star who seemed to be repeatedly overlooked by the management. Her tag team title reigns as part of Joyride are testimony to her skills in the ring. She deserved the opportunity. Then there is Alexandria, who is in the match as a result of management wanting to stick it to me after getting DQed in our title match. Not going to say she isn't a talented wrestler given the fact she is a former EHWF Mayhem World Champion. She will be champion again in time but not at Meltdown. Lord Raab and I have a history going back over a decade and I know he is a tough competitor. He is long overdue in getting a shot at the World Title and I expect nothing by intensity and brutality at Meltdown. Which brings us to Joanna, a woman who management put into this match to appease the Rissi clan after they fired Micheal. I know that Joanna is a tough woman and top notch competitor who has had a storied career. Hello this entire match is full of people who are talented in the ring and have the credentials to back it up. Even Mass who has the least experience in the match brings a championship pedigree to bear. Hell, folks 4 of the six competitors in this Meltdown Chamber are EHWF Hall of Famers. Mass is only the only one of us who hasn't been in the Meltdown Chamber before. This is my second appearance in such a match but this time I have the Mayhem World Championship. I fully intend to walk out of Meltdown having retained my Championship but will have to see on the night won't we?
At that Thor chuckles reaching over to run his hands over the surface of the EHWF World Championship as he takes in a few breaths.
Sah'ta Thor: Now it is time for some of your questions. I know you have seen the link to the discord and have been working with my moderators to get settled in there. I will be answering both discord voice call questions and writtens ones. So feel free to ask away. If your question doesn't get answered today I will hold onto it for a later stream. Give me a few minutes to take a short break and we will get started on the questions when I return.
With that Thor puts on a "Be Right Back" screen before getting up to use the bathroom and get something to drink. He returns five or so minutes later to take the screen down and start in on the questions.

OOC: I will in character answer any questions you post below. Keep it in character as something of a fun way to hype up Meltdown and pass some time until then. Additionally the first 2 posts are in the archives (not sure if non HoFers can see that section) but the third is on page 2 of the Out of Arena CD section.
