PREVIOUSLY: At a live event
The atmosphere backstage is charged with anticipation as wrestlers prepare for their matches, refs get ready and caterers set up. In a narrow corridor, Joanna Rissi, dressed in a black cut off tank top and denim shorts, is making her way to the backstage area. As she rounds a corner, she almost collides with Sah'ta Thor, who looks down at her. The tension is palpable as they lock eyes.
Sah'ta Thor: Joanna. Long time no see...
Sah'ta Thor: Ah, Michael. That was unfortunate, wasn't it? But you know the rules of the Hangman's Clause. Nothing personal, just business. I'm sure he's enjoyed his time at home seeing as his name is the only one that sits right to the side of mine on the Hangman's Contract.
Joanna Rissi: Nothing personal? You got my husband fired. You call that nothing personal? You even still to this day mention him in your announcements and in-ring addresses and whatnot. You call that nothing personal? I call it very personal. Very strategic. Very slimy to be honest.
Sah'ta Thor: Fair but did you happen to forget the number of times your husband has tried to kill me over the years? Look, Joanna, what happened to Michael, happened to Michael, but this is the world we live in. It's survival of the fittest. When the Hangman's Clause was put on me I could have been easily fired as well just after Michael when I won the EHWF World Championship and if I win it again, I'm facing the same Hangman's Clause and I can't get rid of it.
Joanna Rissi: Survival of the fittest? More like survival of the sneakiest. You used that Hangman's Clause to slither your way to the top, and now you're parading around like you're some kind of good guy. The difference between Michael and You in this situation is that you didn't get fired when you won the EHWF World Championship and I don't know why but I'm sure it's because you slithered your way somewhere to make sure you were safe.
Sah'ta Thor: Hero or not, I'm still here, and Michael is not. But what's done is done. You, nor your husband of all people or ANYONE for that matter gets to judge me or have an opinion on what I do. I've more than proven myself around these parts. And even though it might look like it, I'm not done yet.
Joanna Rissi: Look, Thor, I may not like you, but I've heard about your recent health issues. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Sahta Thor: Save the sympathy. I don't need it.
Joanna Rissi: Hmm... If that's the case... Well, you might need something else. I'm challenging you, Thor, to a match for the Hangman's Contract. I mean why not? You don't want sympathy, you're still going and you seem oh so confident so if we're both here, why don't we meet next week and fight. If I win, I get the Hangman's Contract.
Sah'ta Thor: You're challenging me? You're a brave one, Joanna. But do you really think you can beat me? Hmph... Don't think I'm an idiot anyway. I'd probably win but if there was a chance you beat me and won the Hangman's Contract that's STUCK to me, you could use it and fire me just like I got your husband fired... No thanks.
Joanna Rissi: I know I can beat you, Thor. And I'm not just doing it for myself. I'm doing it for Michael. I'm doing it for some redemption and revenge but you don't seem all that confident. Not as confident as you were before Thea beat you and you lost the title. Maybe you're scared? Maybe you SHOULD think about packing it in?
Sah'ta Thor: Fine. You want the match? You got it. But we do it at Monday Night Mass Murder. I have to guest referee the match with your idiot nephew at Mayhem. Maybe after I beat you, I can beat him too, who knows...
Joanna Rissi: Monday Night Mass Murder it is. And Thor, if I win, not only do I get the Hangman's Contract, but you're done. Your career is over. You're going to feel just how Michael felt.
Sah'ta Thor: Bold move, Joanna. But I accept. Let's see if you can back up your words in the ring because if you can't, it's going to hurt. Like I said... I have no plans to stop what I'm doing and no one is gonna stop that. Not even you.
The tension between Joanna Rissi and Sah'ta Thor lingers as they part ways, knowing that the stakes are high and the upcoming match at Monday Night Mass Murder will be a battle for redemption and retribution. Joanna looks back as Thor leaves in the other direction and we fade out from the scene.

Joanna Rissi: Thor? What are you doing here tonight? I didn't know you were going to be here.
Thor smirks as he steps to one side in the hall.
Sah'ta Thor: Joanna. Long time no see...
Joanna Rissi: Not long enough though. Listen, I haven't been back all that long. I'm really, really sorry to hear about your health condition and your issues you've been facing recently, I truly am but I really don't have much to say to you. Not after everything that went down around this time last year and after Final Destination. Sure, I can blame Gomez for it but we all know you along with Brandon Bash manipulated the Hangman's Contract to get Michael fired.
Thor raises an eyebrow with a small angle forming in one side of his mouth.
Joanna crosses her arms and grins as she looks up at Thor.
Thor leans in towards Joanna, he doesn't look happy or pleased with this conversation now.

Thor lets out a hearty and sarcastic laugh.
Joanna softens slightly.

Thor pauses for a moment. He knows what Joanna is doing but also doesn't want to back down. He smirks and shakes his head as he steps back in front of Joanna and gets up close, looking down at her.
