Anyone watching it tonight? The card looks pretty stacked and NXT is pretty consistent with their Pay-Per-Views. I have a feeling Cole vs Black will steal the show. Plus, Velveteen Dream is legit.
Thoughts?

I watched it. The main event is quite possibly a match of the year candidate match (Gargano/Almas), Black vs Cole was pretty epic with exception of Cole having treatment for a cut on his thumb, Ember Moon vs Shayna wasn't the best but it had potential PLUS she held the 4 fingers up as Shayna left which I found cool. Overall a very enjoyable show, they showed all the new signings to the performance center (War Machine, LeRae, Ricochet and EC3).
Worth a watch

Cien vs Johnny Wrestling stole the show and definitely kicked off the year on the right foot. Definitely, match the year quality. I'm bummed over Black defeating Cole, as I have no idea what in the hell they are doing with Cole. I figured he would go over on Black while Johnny won the title from Cien, setting up Cole vs Johnny Wrestling at the next Takeover. That clearly didn't happen.
All in all, it was a strong show. I have a feeling the Rumble is going to disappoint a lot of people. At least they got it right with NXT.

The main event and Cole/Black were great! Tag titles were pretty good too! I can't wait to see war machine collide with aop. Why is nxt tag division always packed and wwes mostly crap.
I can understand them putting Black over, he's building more and more of a following and gets more out of a win. Cole is awesome be he's already established with a big following. He'll get his day in the Sun soon enough. A loss here or there isn't going to hurt him.
Once again NXT makes it hard for wwe to follow. Its gonna take a epic rumble match/surprises to outdo it.
Can Triple H just take over wwe already so raw can be as good as nxt?

I really have no idea what the plan for Cole is right now, but with him losing and Fish and O'Reilly retaining, there's little chance he will come up to the main roster without the other two. I figured in time they would all hold gold together in NXT and eventually come up together and possibly feud with Balor Club.
I could see Cien and Black feuding since Johnny Gargano will be going back to the mid-card to feud with Chompa. I'm not sure what the plan for Drew McIntyre is or when he will be back, but at this point why not just boost him up to the main roster?
I wouldn't mind seeing Velveteen Dream get pushed hard. Dude is stellar in the ring and isn't too bad on the mic. If they bring him along the right way they definitely can make him into something special.
The Rumble later on tonight should give us a better indication of whose moving up and whose staying put in NXT. Can't wait to see some of the surprise entrants since last year was a huge letdown.
