Alright. I am willing to listen to any and all ideas on how we (staff of EHWF) can in any way make EHWF better. I don't know what more to do to make this place better, so any idea would be worth consideration. Thank you to anyone who offers ideas in a reply here, a PM to me, or an email or AIM IM.

A deadline countdown clock would be awesome

It's just a matter of recruiting, and that takes some time. Getting the word out, running the fed well in the meantime, and the people will come. And over time, better rpers (hopefully) will come and create a real competitive fun environment.
Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are truly great efeds.

Oh i have been recruiting and everything. Trying to make this place the best i can.
And i like the idea of a countdown clock for the shows and PPVs and other special events. Where to get one small enough for the boards though?

google countdown clocks.
Here's a suggestion, and this is coming from what had happened to the EHWF before. No more result summaries. I know that at times, that's all one can do, but believe it or not, that actually does shun people away. I'm not saying try to do full lengthy results unless you have time.
Also, this one's directed towards us role players, if you have a role play up, see about helping out with both segments and/or matches to write. Cooperation, communication, and showing dedication often helps make great e-feds. I know the other fed I'm in called the UWL, is a very good and has incredibly loyal members, and they help out wherever they can.
In time, we'll have the EHWF back to what it once was prior to my initial joining, a solid fed with no real problems.

I have an idea for the chatbox. Simply just try to find one that can be skinned to match the forums.

^ Like the List idea. Knowing who is what would be nice. However, we would need to setup a time frame where that can be changed, so that it stays updated. Maybe like the 1st and 16th of every month or something like that.

I like both suggestions, Valentine. I'll get right on them.
Anything else, guys? This really helps the fed.

One suggestion I just thought of:
Instead of posting the card in one place and just letting people post their rps in whatever order they want as they finish (as it is now)...how about in the roleplay area, have the card-poster post the various matches in the roleplay board, and in that topic, those designated roleplayers simply reply to that topic. That'll make things a lot more organized imo.
For example:
For my match this week, you could post a topic with the thread title: "Lunatic vs. Remington" and then maybe match info if it's a specialty match or what not. Then within this topic in the roleplay board, Loony and I would post our rps for the week. The other matches would follow the same idea obviously.
Just an idea; you can still post the full card on the card area, but like I said, this would organize the roleplays a lot easier for everyone.

@remi, i hate the "X vs. X: reply here" set up because then you have to scroll to find your opponents role play, and if their opponent from that card made a lengthy rp, you'd have to scroll a ways to reach your opponent's.
believe me, it's easier to search with how people post their rps now than in the x vs. x set up.

We've done that before when EHWF was open before and i am currently about to quit an efed that does that. Obviously i'm not quitting that fed because they do that, i'm quitting for other reasons that aren't important. Anyway, me and JT will have to talk about this and see what the more popular opinion is. I see the point you and Rich are both making with this though.

I am going to make this blunt, if you have people in a fed that don't do shit what so ever then whats the point of having them around? No showers is a perfect example of that. I know JT has said well hey if they no show its an easy win for you but look at how it makes the fed look to new people... not very good.
If I go to a fed and see no one rping then I'm not joining it. Then if people think its okay to do crappy rps just because that's what they have to do to stick around I as a hard working rper doesn't appreciate that either.
I think their should be a strike rule where its three strikes your out or something same goes with staff unless they have a good excuse. But people who work, like i know some of us due have no excuse to not rp I work I still manage to rp, Chris works 2-11 every week and works weekends and is still able to post something up in the given time.
I just want punishment where punishment is due cause I don't want the fed to look bad and have it seem like its members are lazy.

I have a suggestion, you can take it or leave it ... I know we've been doing the RPs the way we are for a long while, but maybe match threads would help? You know, have a staff member post a thread like this.
Joe Blow vs. Tom Smith Match Type RP Limit, Etc.
And have said people post their RPs in that thread. That way staff doesn't have to scan the entire RP section for those involved in the match. To me, it'd makes it easier and it looks cleaner to guests. Just an idea ...
