So this is it, I took that big leap and now I am here in Extreme Hardcore Wrestling. One of the most ruthless, notorious promotions in the nation and somehow I found myself here. Many men and women have tried to get their foot in the door to this place and I kinda just snuck my way past the competition and got my opportunity instead. That's unfortunate but that's how you have to be in this business, you have to be aggressive and fight for what you want. If you're not using others as a stepping stone towards your goal then chances are they're using you as their own stepping stone. People are going to try to push me down so that they can have their faces on the televisions at home but I'll tell you what... they can try but I'm not going down without a fight.
The scene opens to the fresh meat to the grinder, JayDee, as he sits on a giant equipment box that was left unattended by the effects crew. Dressed in his signature ring gear of long black and hot pink tights, his stylized "CCC" logo stamped on the outside of both legs in lime green and white with a design wrapping around the waist of the tights in the same colors as his logos. The black boots match the tights as the lime green creates a flame render, starting from the toes and fading as it gets towards the heel. Again we see his "CCC" emblem printed on the outsides of the upper ankle but in hot pink this time. Covering his torso is a black leather, Austin style vest, with no button on the front allowing it to just hang open. Breathing calmly, JayDee just stares across the unknown backstage area, some dampened, loud music echoing through the hallway most likely coming from the loud speakers around the ring.
It always is a little intimidating to start fresh in a new home but it's alright because I'm have my buddy Ralyks to watch my back when those snakes in the company try to catch you off guard. And there are a lot of those around here, too. I feel like I dropped right in the middle of a snake pit but then again every company is bound to have individuals like that. If you're gonna make here in EHWF you
always have to watch your back. It's strange though, some of these are venues I've been to before but being in EHWF it's a whole different atmosphere. This is the big league, you can't get by half assing your work. I'm going to have to bust my ass to even get close to where I want to be.JayDee hops off the equipment container and slowly paces back and forth, stretching his neck side to side as if warming up for competition. When he walks back to the box he was previously sitting on, he throws one leg on top and stretches it showing an impressive amount of dexterity for not being in the best physical shape compared to most of the roster. His bronze colored tan, uncertain if it's natural or artificial, does a nice job of complimenting the cuts in his muscles. JayDee then switches to the other leg, leaning as far as he can into it. He exhales slowly and bring his leg back down.
This is a big sacrifice for me as I was living a comfortable life, making music and living in a decent sized house. But it got kind of repetitive, predictable... boring. I hope everyone understands what I am doing and that it's something that I need. I don't mean to be selfish but it is something I need to do for myself right now. If they choose to support me, that's great. If I never see them again when this is all over, I'll understand. This is a full time gig and that doesn't leave time for much else so I have to give this my all like I always do. Whenever I set my mind to it, I always excel... and now is the time to show exactly that. Now is the time to show everyone I'm not some nobody from a lackluster indy fed. I'm going to go out there and show everyone... this is my time.
A distinct song to hum through the solid arena walls which get's JayDee's attention. He hops up and down on his toes to warm up his calves and tendons. Ralyks arrived from one of the hallways and nods to JayDee who smirks in response. JayDee, with Ralyks shadowing him, heads through a set of double doors and past a prop backstage that looks like a backdrop, possibly for backstage interviews. They climb a small staircase which leads to some thick, black curtain. JayDee rolls his shoulders to loosen himself up then tosses the curtain aside, both men walking out onto the stage in front of the sold out crowd before scene fades to black.
