It's time once again for the EHWF awards for the year of 2013! It's been a huge year for EHWF as we continue to move forward as one of the best efeds on the internet! Many moments were memorable over the year and those moments are now awarded. EHWF could not be around without the roleplayers who show up every week. So for that i thank you and hope to see you all in 2014!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Man of the Year: Black Man
He won newcomer of the year in 2012 and this year, Black Man has won Man of the Year! There were a few choices for this award, but Black Man has accomplished the most out of all of the candidates. Winning the Mayhem World Championship twice, holding the record for the longest consecutive title reign. He has only lost twice in his time in EHWF and for all of this he is clearly the Man of the Year.
Diva of the Year: Madison Murdock
For the second consecutive year, Madison Murdock has won Diva of the Year! While there were only a few good choices for this award, Madison has accomplished the most out of any diva in EHWF history. This past year she retired the Divas Championship and continues to retain the North American Championship. Not to mention, she has yet to lose in singles competition.
Tag Team/Stable of the Year: Domenic Mazzio & Aubree Celeste
While this award was fairly difficult to pick for 2012, this years choice was pretty clean cut. With many of the former tag teams and stables of EHWF dying off during the year without accomplishing much. Domenic Mazzio and Aubree Celeste have teamed on numerous occasions and have yet to lose in tag team action. With more tag teams and stables rising up, they are sure to have competition for next years award.
Pay Per View of the Year: WAR
This was down to the three choices of WAR, Last Rites, or Scars & Stripes. While every PPV during the year was notable, these three stood out the most. WAR ended up being the choice for this award. During WAR, Scorpion won control of EHWF from John Swaggah, but then betrayed the loyal fans by helping Black Man defeat Scott Wilson in the Three Tiers of Hell match. For these shocking actions, WAR has been named PPV of the Year for 2013.
Match of the Year: Black Man vs. Wilmer Patacky vs. TQ Smooth (Last Rites)
This was a difficult award to choose this year as there were many matches worthy of it. Notable candidates were the Meltdown Chamber match and of course Michael Rissi versus Black Man at Scars & Stripes. In the end, the triple threat Mayhem World Championship match between Black Man, Wilmer Patacky, and TQ Smooth won the vote. TQ Smooth ended up winning, giving Black Man only his second loss in EHWF. A great match and definitely worth of Match of the Year.
Feud of the Year: Scorpion vs. Drake Coleman
A feud that began without Scorpion even knowing it had started. Back in February, a wrecking ball took out Scorpion's limo right after an episode of Mayhem. Scorpion was out for several months, told by doctors to never return due to the many injuries he sustained. He came back at Trial of Tears in June and got a little bit of revenge on Drake Coleman. All was revealed to the world as a Gateway to Hell match was set up for Scars & Stripes. Scorpion successfully got revenge on Coleman, defeating him and leaving him a mess in the ring, winning the Mayhem World Championship at the same time.
Moment of the Year: Michael Rissi defeats Black Man
Many things happened in the year of 2013 to be considered for Moment of the Year, but none were as important as when Black Man and Michael Rissi squared off. Both men were undefeated at the time and it was the main event of the biggest Pay Per View of the year, Scars & Stripes. Win or lose, both men proved that night they were two of the best that EHWF had ever seen. While Michael Rissi pulled it off this time, many hope to see a future rematch between the two. No doubt, this match was the Moment of the Year for 2013.
New Comer of the Year: Blaise
Another award that was tough to choose. Since coming to EHWF months ago, Blaise has proved that she is one of the best. She is currently 12-0 and is the first diva to ever hold the Hardcore Championship. She's defeated every man or woman to step in her way and plans for even bigger things in 2014. No doubt if she sticks around for 2014, she will be in the running for the prestigious Diva of the Year award next year.
Joke of the Year: Sah'ta Thor
There were quite a few people who could have easily won this award, but Sah'ta Thor quitting EHWF was by far the biggest Joke of the Year for 2013. Honorable mentions are Rock N' Roll God, for repeatedly trying to take out EHWF, but failing every time and in turn taking out his own fed. Drake Coleman, for completely flaking out and disappearing from EHWF while he was staff. And who can forget 2 Dope's bitch quit early this year? Sah'ta Thor rage quit and even brainwashed Rockin' Lunatic into believing his bullshit, leading to his exit from EHWF as well. Sah'ta Thor was definitely the Joke of the Year. Congratulations, Thor, for winning the worst award. You will represent jokes all around efeds for the next year.
