The camera pans across the backstage area, moments after Aces High. Various props from the event are left resting, some broken. A figure wearing a black adidas tracksuit emerges from one of the dressing rooms. Upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that it is Ryan Mercury. His hair is wet and it hangs down, partially covering his eyes. He runs his right hand through it, mopping it across to the left side. He brushes himself down and then begins to walk along the backstage corridor. He seems to be looking for something. He stops still. After a few seconds of plucking up courage, he knocks timidly on the wooden door. As the frame begins to ease open, Ryan gulps.
TBC: They know.

Sore would be an understatement for how most of the EHWF superstars were feeling. They put a lot on line at Aces High and in result was a fantastic show with great efforts from all parts. Blaise sat in her locker room with a pack of ice on her head. The diva was feeling the aftereffects of her match and boy did she and James Christian get out of hand... Poor gamblers were just trying to get some luck with money and then suddenly they came in sweaty and bloody. The knock on her door caused her to groan for she had a splitting headache. The diva wore a EHWF shirt over her ring gear since she hadn't had the energy to change yet. She slowly dragged herself to the door, on the way contemplating if she should even answered. However, she ended up opening the door and when she seen the man in front of her the diva's stomach dropped. Blaise wished she would have been prepared for this...
BLAISE: What do you want, Mercury?
She growled as she looked him up and down, leaning on the door frame. She placed the ice pack that she had dropped with her hand down towards her leg back to her head. Blaise then sarcastically continued.
BLAISE: Nice match out there.
TBC; Mercury.

The former North American Champion stood back slightly, smiling as he did. He hadn't expected such a rough welcome. He reached behind his neck with his right hand and scratched it a few times. After dropping his hand back down to his side, Ryan broke a genuinely warm smile.
Ryan Mercury: I just thought I'd come say hi, it's been a while...
Ryan sighed a little and then moved closer to the door. He only moved forward a slight amount, as he didn't want to get too close to Blaise. He missed her, so it seemed, however, he knew she probably didn't feel the same about him.
Ryan Mercury: And yeah... it was alright...

Perhaps she was being too harsh on him. In the diva's eyes he had it coming. All of this attitude was a result of built up anger from the past months. Mercury began to move closer and Blaise found her arms crossing over her chest, almost like a guard. There was a space between them, but yet she still felt as if her space was being invaded.
BLAISE: It's only been awhile because you went and fell off the face of the earth.
She replied, looking up into his eyes angrily. Blaise never invested her time into anyone and she made the mistake in doing so with this man. Which in result just wasted her time. She stared for a moment before looking off into the distance, feeling uncomfortable.
BLAISE: So after you just kind of left me hanging, that's all you have to say for yourself? Hi? I think I deserve more than that and I think that's a little ridiculous for you to think that for a moment I would believe that you came all the way here to say hi. So let's cut the small talk. I don't wanna catch up and hear about your life and how everything's going... I don't really care anymore.

He couldn't believe it. He had arrived with honest intentions, intentions to say hi to Blaise and make everything better. The young wrestler managed a slight grin, the sort where you look kind of perplexed. He thought of walking away, he thought of giving up. Ryan looked down at the ground and bit the bottom of his lip. He then looked up and in the direction of Blaise's eye line. He managed to fathom one thing, she wasn't looking at anything. She was simply trying to wish away the moment. It was obvious that Blaise saw her future without Ryan Mercury.
Ryan Mercury: Yeah, you're right. Maybe I should've told you first, maybe I should've said something before I left. I'm sorry Blaise. Life isn't simple, I'm sure you know that. I sometimes have to make decisions, big decisions... by myself. It's hard, not knowing what to do, you know? It's so difficult making choices, making sacrifices. I'm not here for small talk, you know that's not what I'm about. I'm here to tell you that I'll do anything, anything at all... whatever it takes...to have you back in my life. Blaise, I'm lost without your friendship, I'm lost without you.
TBC: Blaise
