WARNING! This Post Contains Aftermath: KoB Spoilers. PLEASE read results before continuing.
Furthermore: I would like to note that this thread is simply my thoughts and opinions on the PPV as a whole. There is nothing person in this thread (except my little spot about David and me). Please do not take anything I say with more than a grain of salt. My word holds no bearing here. I am merely expressing my opinion for you all to read and enjoy/hate.

Match #1
Blaise vs. Dawson Hayes
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts And Opinion: I think most of, if not all of us, knew how this match was going to go before it even got started. Ryan, that doesn’t mean you can take offense, brother. I just know how much you focus on Ryan Mercury over Dawson Hayes. Blaise is coming back and is looking to prove a lot more than last time, and that is saying something. All in all this was a very one-sided match. Not just on paper (again no offense Ryan), but in the writing as well. The match reflected that and Blaise made short work of Dawson Hayes in the opening match to Aftermath. Hopefully soon, Blaise will be elevated back up to where she belongs.
What The Future Holds: Honestly...I see Ryan either doing away with the Hayes character, or using him as cannon fodder for new people between angles. Now I could be wrong. Ryan could be all like “WRAH! I’LL SHOW YOU!” and then Dawson beats Rose for the HC title or something. Who knows?! As far as Blaise is concerned, though...Blaise is just coming back, and she is already back to her winning ways. The time is going to come, very soon I hope, where Blaise is faced with someone who can give her a good run...a good feud. And that, I think, is something we are all looking to see. #Blaise/KazamaPt.II

Match #2
North American Championship
TQ Smooth vs. Bill Ryder (c)
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts And Opinions: Wow! All I can say. Period. When I read this match I actually went back and read both RPs. Not because I didn’t agree with the decision, but because I didn’t realize just HOW CLOSE this match was. I mean, really. A HAIR. A FREAKIN HAIR. You take a guy like TQ Smooth and Bill Ryder and you throw them against each other...your winner is practically decided on a coin flip. Bill’s material has always been on point. TQ Smooth, ever since coming back, has been a one man wrecking crew. Aside from that, this match was masterfully written to show that both men could have won it. It leaves the constant thought in everyone’s mind “what if?” and that is what these high caliber writers should strive for.
What The Future Holds: This is where it gets fun. TQ Smooth has just come back, and instead of kicking and screaming about not getting a World Title shot he kept his head down for the most part and now holds the North American Championship. Bill Ryder, Ryan Mercury, Maddie Murdock, David Arnold (I know there are more I just don’t remember!) have all held this title in recent times. TQ has his hands on a pretty damn prestigious belt. The question now is...What does Bill Ryder do? Bill’s character has taken a fascinating turn. A Heel Turn. I think I, along with everyone else, want to see Bill Ryder move up the ladder. Bill has two options: Invoke his rematch clause against TQ Smooth. OR! Move up the ladder. That decision is firmly in Bill’s hands. The ball is in his court, and I, for one, will be interested to see just what The Icon of BBW decides to do.

Match #3
Junior Heavyweight Championship
Handsome Devil vs. Conner Creed vs. Savannah vs. Lucas Mercer vs. Van Jameson vs. David Arnold vs. Chicken Shit vs. Steve Jessup
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts and Opinions: This match was pretty face paced from the get go. I kind of expected more from a few people in terms of promo work. David and Savannah really delivered. I wish. I WISH Conner had more time on his hands so he could throw up two awesome shoot RPs. He’d be a force to be reckoned with in this division. Alas, It came down to Savannah and David Arnold with David capturing the gold. An interesting twist to the end though, don’t you think? I feel it sets multiple characters up nicely with introductory angles.
What The Future Holds: Which leads me to this part of the review. It’s clear from the get go that David and Conner are going to butt heads. Fantastic in my opinion, because I love their shoot work. David is that guy who’s determined to prove he’s changed and Conner is going to prove he can beat the fuck out of you. Haha. Also, can I just say, Van Jameson costing Savannah at the end there gives Savannah something to do as well as Van Jam.

Match #4
Hardcore Championship
Eli Sykes vs. Rose (c)
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts and Opinions: The only thing I can think of about this match is: Brutal. Rose went ham on Eli in the end there. Eli, as a writer, is a fantastic guy. Rose is just...Rose. She kicked our asses ten years ago...she’s still doing it. The match was a fun read, for sure. Rose retaining is something I secretly wanted. Gotta root for my BBW peeps (Yes Bill I was rooting for you too. Don’t get all butthurt on me). I feel like this match would have been a lot more...convincing...if Eli hadn’t JUST saved Rose’s ass from James Champ and face turned two weeks ago, but hey! It was still a quality match up worthy of a PPV.
What The Future Holds: This one is pretty simple...and yet not. Rose, obviously, is going to continue her ass kicking in the Hardcore Division. I’ll be interested to see who comes next for Rose to face. There are a lot of options...a lot of talent here that could give her a solid run. On the other end of the spectrum, I feel like Eli is in a bit of a crossroads. He is defining Eli as the Tweener/Face/Anti-Hero persona that he is wanting to develop and it needs to take hold. He needs an angle to solidify himself in that role to show that people can cheer for him and boo him at the same time. It’ll take time. It’ll take work. But God Damnit Eli Sykes is an interesting character and I really want to see it work out well.

Match #5
Mazzio vs. Ryan Mercury
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts and Opinions: Pretty brutal match. Again, I feel like we all knew where this was going to go. Rissi hates being in a position of power as well as on the active roster. Ryan is coming back into the Ryan Mercury persona that he should have never left. I do have a slight problem with this match, but it’s just me nitpicking. These two guys were built to look insanely strong. Now, Mazzio has always been that type of character and I won’t knock that. But if you look at this on paper, this damn match almost went on longer than two matches put together haha. Am I saying that’s a bad thing? No, and I’ll explain why.
What The Future Holds: What depresses me about this is that I know what the future holds for Domenic Mazzio. With Rissi being in control, Mazzio is nothing more than a story builder. He is the Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam of EHWF. He builds the newer talent to the top tier competition. That being said, I will explain why this match was a good thing for Ryan. Ryan has a chance to do exactly what I did. Put on a classic bout with Mazzio and then propel himself into the Main Event picture. He got a taste of it at Scars and Stripes, and now he has a chance to sit there permanently. Hey Ryan? My advice...don’t changer personas again. Mercury works. Mercury fits. Now stahp it!

Match #6
EHWF Championship
David Smith vs. Silver Kazama (c)
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts and Opinions: This is where my thoughts get a little heavy people. David...this is more for me and you but I’m letting people read it. This match has been what we’ve been waiting on. It was the end all be all to almost 5 months of long hard work on developing two characters who were so similar and yet polar opposites of each other at the same time. Ever since Retribution the two of us have been on the same page as far as direction with our characters and the way we pull it off. Rissi and the others helped us out A LOT in terms of how they booked us to look strong, even in defeat, all of the damn time. This match was no different. I’m not going to lie. I was perfectly calm until I actually GOT to our match. I winced every time I scrolled down and saw counting. I cringed as I watch close falls thinking “fuck I lost” or “oh fuck I won.” I have never been more anxious while reading a match.
I won, yes, but damnit David we told one hell of a story. I wasn’t lying when I said I was comfortable no matter how it went. If I won like I did, I can only imagine how you would have won. It was that back and forth. With that being said, David, I really want to say thanks. This last five months has been probably the most fun I’ve had in a long time with this. It’s always fun to have people willing to work with you in terms of development rather than just write against you. In my book this feud will be hard to top. It was back and forth. It was all out hell, I think. But I think we can both be glad it’s over. We were gonna run out of material at some point! Haha
What The Future Holds: There’s the million dollar question. Problem now, David, we have to top this shit. I feel like my path has been set for me. James Champ and Roman Quartz are glaring me in the face. You, you have a chance to do whatever you want, man. You can literally just be a bad ass heel who wrecks people’s shit for no reason if you wanted to. I’ll be interested in seeing where you take David from here. After 5 months I’m fairly invested in the character, don’t you think? Haha.

Main Event
Tag Team Championships
Insidious (Nathaniel Grant & Aaron Fredrick Hudson) vs. Masturbation Nation (Wilmer Patacky & Jerry Mazy)
- - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - -
Thoughts and Opinions: Dude this Main Event was full on ham mode. I was pretty sure Grant was gonna kill someone for a minute. The highlight for me, and I’m sure most of you, was Hudson getting set on fire through the barbed wire table. Masturbation Nation getting the win was pretty cool. Crazy bastards. But I really like Kris’ Insidious group. Definitely that dark feel to it that I like. The match was face paced. Lots of weapons. Lots of blood. I mean, what more can you want out of an EHWF Main Event?
What The Future Holds: It’s fairly obvious that these two teams will butt heads until a new team comes along. AFH’s statement at the end after that beatdown made it glaringly obvious. I’ve been interested in this tournament from the get go, so I will definitely be interested to see where these two teams go in the future. AND! Who will emerge to challenge these two teams? Is there going to be a new team in EHWF soon? -AHEM!- -Insert Anime Commentator Voice- Find out...NEXT TIME! ON Dragon Ball Z! FUCK! Wrong show. Fuck it, you get the point.
