Regarding the Junior Heavyweight championship...

Alexander Corvis is walking through the backstage halls, looking for someone to interview now that the Aftermath PPV has completely come to an end. He notices a couple heading down a hallway and runs over to them, the cameraman with him staying with him. Corvis makes it over near the couple and taps the guy on the shoulder. He turns around and it's revealed that the couple is none other then Erin Vega and the new EHWF Junior Heavyweight champion David Arnold. They're back in their causal wear with their bags, getting ready to leave, but David looks over at Erin and shrugs, then sets his bags down, knowing what was coming. 

Do you care if I ask you a couple of questions really quick David? 

No problem Alexander, go ahead. 

Ok, well first off congrats on winning the EHWF Junior Heavyweight championship here tonight David, it's great for you to be a champion again on this path to redemption that you've been on since returning.

Thanks. Although championships don't define me, it means a lot to be the Junior Heavyweight champion and I look forward to making the division exciting and interesting again. 

Well it seems like that's being done for you already. Let's start with Van Jameson's interference at the end of the match costing Savannah the match, thoughts?

Well I have no problem admitting that although I'm glad to be the champion, it's a tainted victory and Jameson should never have been involved after he was eliminated. I don't like that Savannah was screwed out of the chance of victory there, so I was glad to hear that Rissi made a one on one match between Savannah and myself for the championship on the September 19th episode of Mayhem. 

What about Connor Creed coming out and laying you out, then leaving with the championship?

Is that what happened to the belt? I'll admit, he got me pretty good, waiting until I was weakened, unprepared, and attacking from behind pretty much like he did. That's a true wrestler right there, not someone like me who fights you face to face man to man, but someone who acts like a sore loser and a baby really (smirking as he's saying this) In all honesty though, he may have the title belt, but I'm still the champion. Possession may be 9/10ths of the law as I'm sure he'll be saying soon enough, but the record books says otherwise. 

So getting back to the match that's been announced, do you feel that it'll be contested fairly knowing that Creed and Jameson will be at the arena and will probably get involved somehow? 

No, I don't feel that way and honestly if I could, I'd put them in the match as well to make sure that Savannah and myself beat them up first before they could screw up the end of the match again. However, that's not up to me. So for now, I'll simply let them know that should they get involved at all...

David was about to continue when he looked past the camera and happened to see someone standing there...

The camera pans over to see who it is that David is looking at, and it is none other than...


Wilmer Patacky!


Wilmer flashes a big grin, but suddenly winces in pain after doing so. The fresh stitches in his head from that barbwire steel chair shot from Aaron Hudson at the end of Aftermath: KoB obviously being the reason why. He has one of the EHWF Tag Team Championships draped over his left shoulder as he steps up to Alexander and David.


"David Arnold! The One and Only! It has been way too long...but I must say. I am happy to see that you are back, and better than ever! And we both walked out of Aftermath with championship gold!"


Wilmer stopped himself real quick, apparently just now remembering that Conner Creed took off with David's Jr. Heavyweight Championship.


"Well...you know what I mean. Sorry if my memory's a little fuzzy, hashtag Deathmatch Problems, amIrite?"


Wilmer would let out a small chuckle, as he extended out his right hand to David Arnold.

David smiled and extended his hand out, shaking Wilmer's extended right hand in the process. 

Wilmer Patacky, good to see you back around these halls as well! I was wondering how long you'd be able to stay away from this place, knowing it wouldn't be too long. This place and this business is like a drug to guys like us, we can't get it out of our system and we don't seem to want to even try to. 

David brought his hand back after the handshake, putting his arm around Erin. 

As for the thief, hey, things like this happen. Wouldn't be the first time in my career that someone's stolen my title belt. Can't really change the record books because of it though, just like I can't change the fact that Wilmer Patacky is officially 3-0 against David Arnold as well. 

David chuckled a little bit after bringing that up, waiting to see if Wilmer had anything to say about that.

Savannah was walking down the hallway when she say Arnold speaking to Alexander Corvis. Part of her wanted to rush up, grab the mike and demand they restart the match now, get this thing finished tonight damnit!

But she knew that that wasn't possible, and besides she'd already gotten the news about meeting Arnold on the 19th to finish this up.

She was patient.

She could wait.

So it was that after Arnold had had his say, and that Pataky guy had had a bit to add, she cleared her throat and approached the gathering crowd.

"All I want to know is. After kicking VanJam around the ring next Mayhem, and finishing what we started the week after that, does this shit with Creed mean that I get to kick him around too?"

She smiled at Arnold. even offered her hand.

"Nice match, by the way. Congrats on the win - this time."

David's attention turned from Wilmer to Savannah and shook her extended hand. 

You did a great job out there yourself Savannah, very impressive getting most of the eliminations. I wish that dingaling didn't get involved in the ending of the match so that we could have found out who was truly meant to win that match between the two of us, but that's what our match is for. 

David took his hand back, not wanting the handshake to go on too longer and make things awkward, but he smiles at her. 

As for the Creed thing, it's still up in the air as to which one of us will have to be dealing with him, that's what the 19th will reveal. But for now, it may be a little surprisingly, but I'll be rooting for you this week on Mayhem. After all, VanJam cost you the match, but I'm almost just as upset about it as you are, not wanting a tainted championship win. So go and kick his ass from pillar to post and we'll see on the 19th who the true champion will be.... as long as those idiots stay out of our business on that night anyway.

Savannah's smile lost a lot of the pretty in it.

"Oh, don't worry about VanJam hon. After I'm done with him in Toronto I don't think he'll be showing his face anywhere on the 19th! And I don't know if Creed would try anything with you next week, but if he does I'll have plenty to 'say' to him as well!"
