From Nodq.com
- Rumor has it that a talent thought long to be retired is returning to the ring. It has been reported that Eric James signed a one year contract with his home promotion, Extreme Hardcore Wrestling Federation. The news broke earlier today when someone saw him walking out of EHWF headquarters.
"Contract? Nah. I just came to see an old friend or two. I told you all. I'm done with Professional Wrestling."
There has been a rumor that he will be starting work there in two weeks. When asked on Twitter if this was true:
@ej423 Two weeks? Uh...I think I'll be at home in Toronto...Trying to find some hot chick I haven't banged yet. I said I am retired, and I am retired. #NotBrettFavre.
As we know, this isn't the first time that James denied an in ring return. In 2008, right before he signed on with EHWF, he posted on his Myspace account that he had officially retired, and was never planning to return. More on this story as we get it. Reporters recently asked Mike Flynn what his thoughts were, with Flynn having an unbelieving expression on his face.
Flynn: "Eric James? The Flake? That punk still owes me a legit match with one true winner. If he comes bringing his A-Game, the road to the Main Event and the EHWF World Title will be through me!"
