Alright, so I've been thinking about stuff to do OOC on the boards to help bring folks closer together, and this is one of the ideas I came up with. So everybody must have their favorite characters, the ones they "mark" for in a sense, so this can be the place to drop some love and give them praise on why they're one of your favorites.
This could be for any number of reasons. For instance, I mark out for heels, but not really for ultra badass shit stomper heels. I like my heels to show vulnerability.
I also like a well structured promo that drives home the point the writer is trying to make.
Here goes:
1. Eli Sykes - I might be a little biased because he's my brother, but from where he was a year ago to where he is now is like night and day. He went from the guy who might have seemed like an afterthought to one of the longest reigning World Champions in EHWF history. That's a feat not many people can say they've accomplished, and his track record includes some of the toughest defenses to date (Blaise, Calvin Harris, Jason Dave, etc.) and the challenges don't seem to be slowing down! The skies the limit here and I'm proud to call this dude my brother.
2. Andre Pierre - This guy has one of the most consistent characters in recent memory. He plays the "Putrid American scum!" sniveling Frenchman to a T! Awesome heel work dude!
3. Jason Dave - He might be in the HoF, but he won't rest on his laurels. He has been churning out great RP after great RP consistently. I hope he doesn't take his recent loss to Eli indicative of his skill. That match was probably tough to call. Awesome character with an awesome story! Keep up the good work man!
Honorable Mentions:
- Calvin Harris - Zoe McDraven - Blaise - Bill Ryder

For me, I've been here a lot longer than most people here and I've had the privilege of seeing a variety of different characters come in and out and EHWF. For me, this list is more of a top 3 overall when it comes to RPs and their characters.
1. Michael Rissi-probably the easiest pick for me on my top 3. Simply put, Rissi is undefeated here in EHWF. Last I checked I think his record is 46-0. I love his character and I mean he's undefeated for a reason and it's not like he went against some scrubs he actually took on some of the best of the best that ever came through EHWF including the likes of DGS, Black Man, etc. Rissi does a really fantastic job delivering his character and his laid back but serious persona it's great IMO.
2. DGS-Although I know there are going to be numerous amounts of people that may and will disagree with me on this, but I can't take away credit where credit is due. DGS dominated nearly everyone in EHWF for awhile in his prime. His character was a little bit eh, but his RPs were always top notch and he's been apart of some of the great feuds and matches in EHWF.
3. Eli Sykes/Black Man-This is the hardest pick so I am going to give it to both of these guys. Eli's character is probably my favorite of all time. I'm huge into psychology and to read his pieces about a guy that's so beyond fucked up psychologically it's so intriguing to me. I just love the psychological ideas behind his character and his RPs are always astounding as well as Black Man's. Both of these guys have great RPs, great characters, I really like them both so I had to give them a shared spot in the top 3.
My Honorable Mentions: Bill Ryder Calvin Harris Scott Wilson Maddie Murdock Silver Kazama
Those mentions are just to name a few. I can't remember everyone that's come and gone since I have been here, but if I could then I know that list would be much longer.

Nice thread Champ.
I don't know how I'd rate my current top 3 but I can rate my unbiased un-used opinion of the All Time I guess...
1. Blaise I guess in terms of achievement and ability Blaise is up there. 2x World Champion with long reigns. The Hardcore Champion with a long ass dominant reign beating top guys. Tag Team Champion and Showtime Champion - Triple Crown all that good stuff. Hall of Famer with the most wins of any superstar or diva in EHWF History. Beat a lot of top guys, won a Scars and Stripes main event, became the first and only woman EHWF World Champion... She's always been involved in high profile shit with high profile people and quickly became a fan favourite and hero and 2 time woman of the year. Her character and detail is great, her RPs are always top notch and she always puts in the effort no matter what.
2. Michael Rissi This guy could be considered the best ever but times change so I guess that'll be argued about for decades to come - 1 or 2? Michael Rissi defeated everyone and anyone including the bitch ass so called heavy hitters who thought they were gawds like Drake Coleman, Sah'ta Thor, DGS, Black Man, Danny Givens, Scott Wilson just to name a few. He was a World Champion 1 time, defeating DGS in the main event at S&S then won back to back S&S main events when he defeated Black Man the following year. Rissi was the Hardcore Champion and held the title for 9 months with 7 defences and is probably still the longest reigning HC champ today. Rissi was never once defeated and boasts a record of 47-0 and also holds the longest winning streak in history. He is a Hall of Famer and at one time the face of the company and leader of massive factions like UGK and whatever the Main Event Cartel shit was. Rissi was always centre stage and in the limelight for years until he packed it in and became owner of the company. He was a hero and always did what was right while the character was portrayed as a lighthearted yet serious and striking individual. Hall of Famer and Man of the Year too if you cared...
3. Silver Kazama A very hard choice at 3 but I think Silver can take this spot. Silver Kazoma was the face of the EHWF for some time and a great hero character who had may different facets too him and was always described in great detail. Silver was like a 2 time World Champion having a great and long feud with DGS. He was also a Hardcore champion with a steady run in his early times before he quickly worked his way to the main event. Silver also held the Showtime Championship for a short time and is a Man of the Year and a Hall of Famer. Silver always had great stories with whoever he worked with and boasts an impressive record. His character is what gets him over the line against others for this spot as he was more interesting and a great hero and face of EHWF during his time. Silver was give many many opportunities and took them, making the best out of every single one producing great matches and RPs which saw his time at the top a lot more interesting than others who had been there before him. Silver had what it took to get to the top and lead.
So that's it. No honourable mentions but maybe a jot down of possible others to follow after #3?
4. Scorpion 5. Black Man 6. DGS 7. Sah'ta Thor 8. TQ Smooth 9. Eli Sykes (Don't worry, Eli will get there soon enough) 10. Mazzio
Good thread Champ I think it'll be interesting to see what other people have to say...

My list
1. Savannah - She has to be the Dolph Ziggler of EHWF. She is by far the most consistent writer we have. She wins, she loses but it doesn't affect her. She is credible and credibility is the hardest thing to bring to a character. You have to do things right to be known as the "Dolph Ziggler" of a federation. You can be in the opening match or the main event and damn, you show and do your thing. You take a loss and nobody bats an eye lid, you win and everybody is like yeah that's Savannah. I think you need something though. An angle or something like that. What I've learnt here is that you need to be relevant and the only way you do that is outside of the ring. You need to have an on-going story. I don't mean character development because personally I find that shit boring as fuck. I mean an on-screen story. Something that carries on every week. Something I've always had with Morgan and will always have when he's around. My advice? You need a story and you need people to want to know where it is going. As Vince McMahon once said "A scripted wrestling match isn't fun without a story behind it."
2. Mazzio - This is a simple one. Ryan Morgan wouldn't be around today if Mazzio wasn't. The characters are a perfect match as a team or as rivals. Goku and Vegeta. Good and bad but ultimately perfect for each other. The last 4 or 5 months Divinity have been a constant in EHWF. Yes, that's changed now but it doesn't mean it can never be revisited. As friends or rivals, Mazzio and Morgan are the two people who will never be separated. I owe a lot to the Mazzio character and at the time of our first rivalry, it saved Morgan from EHWF extinction.
3. Bill Ryder - Why? Well, simple again. Every man and his dog wants to see Ryan Morgan versus Bill Ryder and the beauty is, it will always be talked about. I don't know how it came about or why but this was the first time Ryan Morgan truly had an enemy. They are a different type of combination to Ryan and Mazzio. Ryan and Mazzio it's about a straight up power struggle, good and evil. Ryan and Ryder... well, it's complete disrespect. It's complete hate and disregard for the other. Never fully invested in, never fully pursued but always there. Everybody knows the hate is there. Ryan Morgan never deserved to get what he did, Bill always seemed to feel cheated or conned. Who would win in a clean match? Would things be different? One day, maybe this will be a match and when it is, it will surely be at a Scars and Stripes.
Honourable mentions Rissi Brandon bash Blaise
