The up and down roller coaster ride that Misty Vega has been on/put the EHWF Universe through over the past few weeks is finally coming to an end.
After Retribution Rumble where Misty did have a fairly decent showing and even got her hands on her rival Astrid Sedin, Misty released a statement after a visit with EHWF management and evaluating her future.
"For me, it is not about the wins and losses any more. It is about how I go out and compete each and every night. That is what it really has always been about. I held the tag team titles with Joanna for 4 months. I fought some of the best Mayhem has to offer. When I was in that ring, I felt the passion and adrenaline to continue to perform at my very best.
Now however, as I sit back and look at my Retribution Rumble, I see how I just didn't have that same passion. I was eliminated by Eli Sykes and instead of caring and being depressed, I just shrugged my shoulders and went to the back and didn't think twice about it. That is not what you need to make it in this business. You need the passion and dedication.
That is why I have decided not to sign the contract extension that Michael Rissi so generously offered to me. Therefore at Final Destination: Scars and Stripes, I will be competing for the last time in EHWF. I guess it really will be my final destination with this company. I want to thank everyone for their support and for giving me one hell of a ride."
So there you have it. At Scars and Stripes, Misty will compete for the final time for EHWF.
Stay tuned for more as news breaks.
