Just curious as it's been on my mind for a while since coming back into competitive RPing and EHWF (I spent last almost two decades doing angled/storyline), why is there very little participation from handlers when it comes to oncards/segments for the shows? I mean I Know that Real Life constricts a lot of people's writing time but is there any other reason?
Again this is just out of my own curiosity and in no way meant to insult anyone or pressure anyone to try to get any oncards/segs in for the shows.

I dont know if a lot of people know it's an option and if it is where to go about posting or sending it.
I have wrote a few of my matches with the BBW guys in the past. As well as some segments or special entrances for ppvs. But mostly if I have an idea for a segment like when black took away the misfit in a body bag I've always just suggested it to Rissi and they wrote it in for me.
I also think its a little easier to just make suggestions a) for time purposes and b) I dont know how to html format stuff so I always feel like its making it harder on the writers that reformat everything.

It usually says at the end of each card to send segments and such to EHWF Management, but I can see what you mean tho. The few segments I've written for results were usually joint segments with whomever I was feuding with at the time (Black Man, T.Q Smooth, etc). Sometimes though I think people just rather make a suggestion than to go out of their own way and all.

I actually have no idea who writes the matches and segments around here unless someone tells me directly. I've helped write matches and segments in the past, but never really thought about it unless someone came to me and asked me personally. I love writing other peoples matches and having the ability to create a story with their characters in the ring. I even take the time to read the move-list for whoever is the match I am writing for and incorporate their moves into the match.
Writing segments for my character is something I would love to do more in the near future, as long as I'm given an early notice. Also, if anyone would like a handwriting out a match, please message me with the details and I will gladly write one up for you guys.

Okay so since it was brought up lol does anyone else feel like "why did I make a move set if my character never uses them?" Like some matches I feel like yeah that was awesome I could totally see my wrestler having that match and then some times I read it and think that is no where near my style and is very generic move set?

I think that is an age old problem and sometimes is due to the writers just not having the time to go through everyones move sets while writing the matches. When I did some writing for EHWF as a GM back in the day I tried to read everyones move sets while writing the matches, but the thing is that is time consuming and with a weekly card and deadline back then, it just never worked out 100% of the time.

Scott Wilson's main finisher is a submission but is used as an impact move in results. I never really aid anything cause frankly Wilson Kick >> but yeah I'm sure it's just a time thing. I tried looking at people's moveset too but it's time consuming definitely

I never really thought about the move-list that much, to be honest with you. I obviously have a little more free time on my hands, opposed to someone who writes matches and segments for every show. Sure, there are times when I will be reading my match and my character will do something that makes me scratch my head, but no one can sit here and write the perfect match, week in and week out, especially when utilizing someone else's character. Come to think of it, I probably couldn't even write the perfect match for my own character. Lol.

I agree with Scott and Adam. Looking through multiple moves-list takes up a lot of time and that was something I noticed whenever I would write a match. I can manage looking through peoples moves-list if there are 1-3 people in a match, but anything more than that it becomes a nuisance.

The reason why I barely write segments for Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson is because they aren't the sort of wrestlers at least I never visioned them that way of liking camera attention to talk to the fans when they aren't beating people down or in the ring wrestling. Raab especially more than Samuel hates all of that attention and gets bored too.

Back on the subject of oncards/segs/promos, just Know that I am ALWAYS open to do duals/duels with any and everyone that would be up for it. I always found it easier by doing them on Skype but since most people seem to despise it Google Documents comes up as the next easiest. Regardless of how it gets done, I'm available. Contact me by email (gonnabetrouble at hotmail.com), PM here over the boards, or DM on Twitter (@jsamsongzw2k1).
I would Love to see more on the shows especially Anarchy.
